Can weather conditions impact my skydive?
Skydiving is very weather dependent and it is necessary to allow half a day for your tandem jump. Only instructors and pilots are qualified to judge suitable weather conditions.
As your jump date approaches, you may be contacted up to the day before the jump to move the session in the event of unfavorable conditions, the conditions below must be met:
-
Wind less than 40 km/h
-
No low clouds; cloud cover allows good visibility for drop

In most cases, we will not be able to allow you to skydive if you weigh more than 100 kg.

Yes, there are no issues. We provide over-goggles suitable for freefall, but lenses are often more comfortable.
Should you eat before jumping?
It is important to eat before a skydive to have enough energy. Avoid heavy or fatty meals and focus on vitamins and slow sugars.
You will find Armel at the Skybar on site who will be happy to serve you coffees, pastries and hot meals at lunchtime.
Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited before the jump.
Can my family/friends come with me on the day of the jump?
Yes, respecting the demarcated areas. Your friends and family can accompany you to the center, you will find a cafeteria that serves meals, drinks and snacks. Sofas and armchairs are also available in the hangar to wait.
What time should I come? How much time should I allow?
You must arrive at the scheduled time of the appointment, then depending on the weather and the progress of the session, you should allow around 4 hours on site.
Indeed, despite a meticulous analysis of the weather up to the day before the jump, the situation on site is sometimes unpredictable and can force us to do "weather standby" for the safety of all. The weather standby can last a few minutes, hours and in rare exceptions go as far as postponing the session to a later date.
How high do you jump?
In most cases, the drop is planned at an altitude of 4000m, however for safety reasons, or to control the sky, it happens that the jumps take place at 3500m.
Don't panic, the difference in fall time is about 5 seconds, you won't feel the difference.
